Compare that to Victoria where our government run trains have just been capped at $12.50 into Melbourne from most destinations.

I save £7 a day for 3 tickets rather than 1 for a travelcard to London. Southeastern destroying the planet but saving me money ! What a waste of paper, ink, time waiting in queue while it prints x 3 !

I get my split tickets on my phone off the trainsplit website/app (others are, presumably, available).
Though on the other hand, I have to deal with the hilarious Trans Pennine Express "service", which is basically a con trick whereby if they cancel their train far enough in advance it somehow doesn't count as being cancelled.
