We got a point nearer guaranteed a play off place.
Still at least 3 points clear of our nearest challengers.
Cardiff here we come still then onto div 1.
Things could be worse Grimsby are going down.If we don't go up we can all go to Blackpool hopefully when the lights are on.

I'm happy I've had a good weekend still got this evening to carry on drinking and looking forward to the play offs.
Things could be a lot worse.

Nice one OAP mate. Good to see not everyone on here is slashing their wrists again after a couple of dodgy performances. Your cheerfulness is infectious. I'm off down the pub for a few beers, and when I get back, we'll STILL be in the playoff places with everything to play for and its all in our own hands.

As a great man once said....Keep the Faith.

Well said Dodge. Today was frustrating but it is another point nearer the play-offs as you say. If that Iwelumo goal was allowed then the doom and gloom merchants would not be on full on grumble mode :)

Look at the two teams that came down with us (Wed, Grims) - they would love to be where we are right now.

Seeeeeeeaaaagulllsss - keep the faith

Last year we were relegated with Wednesday and Grimsby, who are 15th and 22nd respectively.

Compared to our 'best' XI last season we have lost

Zamora
Brooker
Ingmarsson
Sidwell
Rodger
Blackwell

and all six have been replaced with players who are not of the same calibre. We cannot afford to pay the wages are being demanded by other players whilst we are still at Withdean.

Stop the whining and keep the faith

I was feeling a little despondent after todays disappointing performance(as my post on the Rushden thread reveals) but after reading Dodge's words of wisdom I've decided to be more positive-CARDIFF,HERE WE COME:clap2:

The "doom and gloom merchants" as you say are in full voice because of the terrible performance yesterday

We were awful, we were awful at Blackpool, when did we last play well? Fair enough, points mean prizes but don't be blinkered

We are rubbish at the moment, and if you are happy with the way we have played since the New Year then you are very easily satisfied........we played better under Micky Adams in DIVISION 3, than we do these days. If we stumble into the playoffs, we will be caned by Swindon or Bristol City

Is that blind faith that things will get better on the pitch before the end of the season?

Can't see it myself, but looked forward to being proved wrong and seeing at least ONE passing move by us in our next three home games (2 league + playoff game), and perhaps even (shock horror) seeing the ball played from back to front via the midfield, rather than just the aimless hoof from Messrs Cullip, Harding Virgo and Gay Buttocks to the smallest man in the league

Certainly if the fans continue with the attitude of the "Prancing Whinger" the team will not lift their game, call it blind faith or whatever, we are still the supporters of the team in blue and white who ever may wear the colours. As sad as the situation may be we can only try to recreate the Goldstone Roar from The Withdean, and pray that with our support the Seagulls can make and win the Play Off's if the Dancin Ninja and his likes feel they have it bad try sitting in front of a screen watching only Text comments on a boring game (I still shout my support from 1500 miles away)

KEEP THE FAITH

Why? Because he doesn't subscribe to the "All's well on the good ship Albion head buried in the sand happy-clappy" stuff?
