Rather than focus on yesterday's result ... let's focus on where we are with 5 games to go and Europe still very much in our hands.

A terrible loss like yesterday does not define us.. Plenty of horrific defeats in the PL this season for lots of teams and maybe more to come.. We are gutted, because we have had such a special season.. and the run-in, games in hand and injuries make what has become realistic, a European dream, look tough.. but let's see where this wonderful team take us. Losing by 5 was always on the cards given how we were going to chase the game.

We could really do with Southampton being down by the time we play them, knock the fight out of them as if they're still fighting our record against teams up for a scrap in recent weeks doesn't bode well

Yesterday was a shocker and after the Spurs and cup game it feels a bit flat (despite beating Man U and destroying Wolves). Funny old game. But let's not forget how good it's been. We've been absolutely breathtaking at times this season and under any metric it's been a huge success for a club our size and with our budget.

Do you not think that although not mathematically, that after last night they consider themselves doomed …..then to feel free of that burden to play some nice football 🤦‍♂️

Yesterday put to bed all the silly talk (mainly media) of CL ….now to concentrate on the realistic goal of Europa League/highest ever finish
I never once thought CL was realistic after the Atwell induced travesty at Spurs.....

That dream died in the hands of the worst PL refs incompetence

CL was never realistic (anyone who thought it was possible needs their head examined) and, thinking a bit more objectively, our success has all been about incremental improvement.

Getting Europa league could easily be too much too soon and Conference league is more likely a good step up (and with a realistic chance of going far - look at West Ham).

IF we get any European football, that would be my pick

They might try but they'll also give up quite quickly if we make it tough for them (which barring a total first minute brain fart like yesterday, we should)
