I'm thinking that there will always be a chairman daft enough to spunk millions up the wall on dross like Nicklas Bendtner. Fair plays, they fully deserve each other.

Random flyer that might not work is Anthony Vanden Borre - FREE / Trial - Done F-all last year back at Anderlecht but suits our RWB type spot perfectly if given a chance to play regularly....... worried as was average at Portsmouth on loan but think was in Prem?
Anthony Annan Ghana midfielder but out of favour..... 65 caps not for nothing at age 26 given their DM and CM options! Slots in next to Bridders. Schalke keep loaning him out as don't want him but he's done well at Osasuna.
Fellow countryman Daniel Opare is 22 and since leaving Real Madrid 18 months or so ago has done well at Standard Liege - too good for them and is a LWB / RWB
With Bridge in too you have the wide defenders and holding midfielders sorted.
Van Djik then rather than an old head at CB and consider Upson, but number 1 target be Craig Dawson. West Brom but loaned to Bolton. England under21's star. 13 games and 5 goals at that level plus 11 games for Bolton and 4 goals this season........ from CB! Also played in GB team.
Flair midfielders? Nah stick with Annan and Bridders, Lopez, Buckley, LuaLua (off bench), Orlandi in rotating but E-Ben got to be bought!
Up front in the Barnes role - Gerard Deulofeu Season long loan Barca. I'm assume Tello and Marc Barta have broken into first team btw.
