So, I work for a charity called Off The Fence. This season we are one of the Albions charity partners and last saturday was 'our game' as part of that partnership. Many of you will have seen the collection bins for clothing around the stadium which was one of the initiatives.
After a long day of sorting out clothing I just have to say a huge thank you to those of you who gave us your clothes. What you have given us will help us clothe our homeless clients for the winter....we got absolutely loads of hoodies, t-shirts, shirts, hats and thick winter coats amongst other things which are exactly what what was needed. Winter really is a shit time to be homeless and sometimes little things like a new coat or a fresh t-shirt can make someones day
Expect to see many homeless people wearing Albions hats and jackets from now on, many of them left with smiles on their faces. Especially one woman who is from Brighton and used to go to the Goldstone with her dad- she loved her woolly albion hat
well done anyway...
