You'd have thought this would be no problem, certainly wasn't in days gone by but where's a decent 'greasy spoon' now?
A few mates & I like a 'pay day' breakfast. It's got to be within about 10 mins walk from work (near Churchill Sq) and be open to serve before 7.30.
For some months we've been using Tiffany's in North Road but, after 3 occasions when they were not ready to do the most simple breakfast, last monday they didn't even open.
We've tried the market twice, only to find that closed. Even bystander at the station wasn't open before 8.00am so this time we had to settle for a pasty & coffee on Queens Road.
Duvalls & the legendary Clock Tower cafe are long gone but does anybody else know where we can get a good (and not very healthy) breakfast?
