If Pulis is on this list then we might as well have Mourinho up there as well.

Of the (relatively) realistic options I'd go for Clough.

What a depressing list. And Hoddle? You people are aware it's xmas 2014, some of your clocks seemed to have stopped a decade ago.

My another is unknown, a complete surprise, as has been the case the last 3 times.

Agree. I'm expecting the unexpected. It will be someone completely left-field. Ralf Rangnick, or maybe Steven Pressley now he seems to have lost his touch at Coventry.

Roy Keane for me, got Sunderland from bottom at Xmas to promoted in our division, will shake our players up a bit and will be good entertainment value imo.

I went for Sherwood because i don't think Pulis will come. We need someone long term who isn't going to bugger off if this don't go their way.

Pulis was on Talksport this morning.
They asked him specifically about the Brighton job.
He said he would talk to any club that approached him and take it from there.
He made no mention that it had to be a premiership team.

One thing this poll does show is there does not appear to be one outstanding candidate for the job, a no brainer choice. Whoever the board choose there will be a minority who agree with the choice and a majority who will disagree.

I'm very worried that it will be Karl "My team play every other team off the park but we haven't actually beaten many of them, or gone up or done much considering my budget is big" Robinson...

Who spells Carl with a K anyway. Pfft.
