Has there ever been a major development which has not spiralled out of the realms of the original quotes? Wembley, the Channel Tunnel, everything, they seem to end up at least double the original prices no matter what. How does this happen every single time?

I think people are getting confused over construction cost and total development cost. The Stadium costs circa £65 million, the rest of the monies are land acquistion costs, professional fees, legal, fees, fit-out costs and VAT etc etc...

The £90 odd million is not a new figure - it's been known about for quite a while

i dont beleive thats true, at least the collective did not know. What were the numbers presented to the Public Inquiry, what did they cover?

I would guess the Blooms funding will be repaid over the period with loans taken out by the club. This deal has saved the stadium, saved some interest and allows the club some limited breathing space The money has not been given,so although playing staff will improve,i believe it will be steady ( Arsenal youngsters and Dicker )
