its not actually , the east end starts at the edge of the city ,and finishes at mile end, upton park is a couple of miles further on than that, people in canning town/plaistow/stratford/barking/hornchurch might like to say they are east enders , tha fact of the matter is that they aren't , simple.
If we're being that picky then I'd say the East End starts in what is the *middle* of the City these days. The Bow Bells are on Cheapside aren't they?
yep, st mary le bow, cheapside. most people in the east end ie bethnal green ,stepney etc are arsenal or spurs fans.
