Not that impressive.

1. Citeh are a big draw these days
2. 2 hour train ride from London on some services I believe
3. You can guarantee that a quarter or more of that number are northern/midlands based WHU fans.

only watch the moneyship on the telly and havent seen pompey this year but west ham were absolutely shocking tonight and possibly the worst premiership side ive ever seen. spineless and gutless, just how scary do you think zola would be if you walk off the pitch having just strolled through 90 minutes!

I am not sure that attending numbers should be used as a sign of quality of the support. Various areas are going to be hit harder than some in the times of economic depression. I.e. I would imagine that plenty of Swindon fans have lost their jobs with Honda. Jaguar are closing a plant in Birmingham soon, watch the attendances drop.

However 'big' the club is, 900+ fans traipsing up to Manchester on a school night is pretty good.

What utter tripe, I can think of some far worse teams in the past and this year..

you would think that spivvy used car dealerships and bank robbery would be holding up quite well in these current hard times though.

Oh and Mr South Yarra Seagull... I just wanted to remind you that no matter how many fans you take a million miles away... your badge is still IDENTICAL to Arsenals.. :jester:
