Just finished the Netflix 9/11 documentary. It brings it home when they showed Robert Eaton's name on the memorial in the final episode.

I stumbled across a documentary last night that was all about the people that jumped, a photographer was taking photos as they fell and then sort of made a photo album of them, they even zoomed in as close as they could get before it became too fuzzy but you could almost see the persons face, I am sure a relative or friend could probably identify who it was.
I had to turn over after 5 minutes, it was probably one of the sickest things I have seen on TV for some time, especially as they interviewed some of the relatives of those that died and they were clearly after 20 years still in a terrible mental state.
In my opinion that should never have been aired on TV.

During the week that is in it - it is important to remember the OTHER 9/11

On 11 September 1973 the US administration in the guise of Nixon and Kissinger, orchestrated a military coup led by a fascist general, Augusto Pinochet, to overthrow the democratically elected socialist government of Salvador Allende in Chile. Within days of the coup over 4,000 working class political activists had been murdered in the National Stadium and over the course of the dictatorship (armed to the teeth by the USA and Britain) more than 40,000 people died and hundreds of thousands were imprisoned and tortured.

Finally caught up with this documentary over the weekend, absolutely thoroughly recommend it if you haven't watched it and are in any way interested in how events unfold among those in power
