I'm going to stick up for the OP and say he is bang on the money. When the season is over 86pts will be enough.

It wouldn't really be a surprise if it was enough, it's just not something we can be confident about. Of course we know it might be enough.

Well, what we can say with near certainty is that (given our goal diff) 95 points will be enough but, yeah, 86 might well be sufficient

I believe that Huddersfield will push us hard after their two slip ups and a good result against Norwich. Im sure we will need over 90. A win on Friday would put us in a strong position

Two home wins and one point from QPR/wolves/Norwich gives us 90. Means Huddersfield need 5 wins and 2 draws from their last 7 games - unlikely. 91 is definitely enough though. Winning at QPR virtually seals it, however they have won four home games on the bounce so it won't be easy and Holloway will want revenge for the abuse he got.

Couple of key games are Preston and derby this weekend, both need to win their away games giving them something to play for against Huddersfield.

I agree about needing more than 90. Huddersfield seem to have got over their little blip and looked comfortable against Norwich. They are still a threat.
