Online ticket sales appear to show tickets in short supply.

Only a couple of seasts in C block; couple of dozen in B; maybe 50 in A. J is empty; H has perhaps 50 and G a dozen.

Nothing in the family stand or the North. None available in the other south stand blocks.

W has a couple of hundred.

Has the makings of a very decent crowd.

Apart from those who simply won't go to Withdean the weather is not really a factor bearing mind you can't pay at the gate. However I too think that 7000 would be very optimistic and I doubt that Oldham will muster more than a coach load. Odd when you think that anybody who lives in Oldham would do anything to get away for the day.

True. Just pointing out the weather might not be great. Having said that, I just checked the met office website again, and now they say sunny. Like I said, their predictions change a lot.

So because we are not top & automatically promoted, is reason not to attend?

No,

The reason I wont be attending is I live in leeds and cant get to Brighton every other week.

The part I only really took offence to was the Only true fans go to home games.

To be honest I was very keen on coming on Saturday, family matters dictate I can't but I would certainly expect a bumper audience.

Lots of people have just had it with Withdean full stop and won't go regardless of table position.
The Walsall game earlier this was my last visit and whilst I know the crowd and atmosphere is apalling at Withdean there was just an air of apathy towards the whole thing. In F block people are just using it as meeting point to sit and have a chat and gaze at the footy every now an then and since when does everyone just get up and walk out at the end of the match without clapping the players/manager etc? We had won the game for christ sake not lost.
Having said all that F block would appear to be a lot of the old Goldstone South Stand sort of supporters and perhaps not largely representative of the crowd. When I mentioned to my mate that I hoped I didn't sit with all these lot and Falmer I got a few funny looks..lol !!

North stand and family stand tickets can't be bought online so it doesn't necessarily mean they have sold out.

The other stands are selling better than normal so I think we'll certainly get our biggest crowd of the season and probably top 7000.

Still doing the kitchen? :p

No, it's done, just waiting on the dining table which we ordered 3 months ago.

Can't make it down on Saturday... but already planning a trip to Tranmere the following weekend ... (sort of my closest 'home' game of the season)

We will do well to get 7,000 IMO.

Oldham didn't even take 400 to Peterborough, and that's 150 miles nearer to Manchester!

So I shall go for 6,875 (218 Oldham)
