When I was a kid I used to make fruit bowls and ashtrays for my Mum and Grandmothers out of 78's. Bung them in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes and they become pliable. Cheap Christmas presents!

South African Crooner, great voice, sadly died in a WW2 bombing raid whilst performing in London.

I've never smoked (well not habitually anyways) but I am familiar with ashtrays .... didn't the fags melt your handiwork though?
