I think you're right saying the only way it can be done is by changing the tactics. We need to win a lot of matches and that can only be done by picking more attacking line-ups than the ones Gus has chosen so far this season.

Not consistent enough and teams above (palace and boro aside) have gone up another gear. That and we always seem to fail to capitalise and close the gap.

I think we will finish where we are today a respectable 8th but would love to be proved wrong

All depends if we don't pick up decent points from our next 4 games then the mentality will change then it will be difficult playing catchup as it seems as there's a slight gap opening up from 5th to us. So 10 teams gunning for 6th is not going to be easy even if we do have the best team on paper.
