7630 registered at the moment, I'll be happy to get in the top 1000. You need to get a decent run of cards to do anything in tourneys this big. Haven't done one on PP yet, but on 888 the level ups were so quick that you have to be aggressive just so the blinds don't kill you. Saying that I'll probably only play a picture pair or AK, AQ for the first few levels, it depends on how quick they go up

one i played the other day was 4 or 5 mins per level up. is it worth playing safe for the first few levels ?

Yes just to get rid of the people who will call anything, unless you get a big hand of course. I'll fold almost everything until it looks like I'm lagging in the chips or the blinds start to hurt, after that you just need a bit of luck and to play your good hands right when you get them.

I had back to back final tables today. Came 9th in the 8:00 $40+4 and 7th in the 11:15 $20+2. Wish I coulda won one though...$1800ish for 1st...sigh...got $114 for 9th and $279 for 7th.
