I didn't know they were available until I rang for the sake of it.

Official capacity is 7905. Not sure Palace sold their full allocation, but it's worrying that we need 12,000 to break even at Falmer and there are 700 empty seats for the match against our main rivals.

They should take out some adverts to let people the match is not sold out! People just assume it is...

I can't see how there were 500 empty seats there today? maybe 100 or so in the palace end, and a few in the North East stand, but where were the other 300+?

If the two barmaids down my local offered me a roast each Sunday I would be there even if the Albion were playing Real Madrid.

it was quite embarassing really that we couldnt sell it out - where were the 30000 that went to the play off final today?

My mate, who, for some reason, doesn't go on to the Seagulls website for information (more fool him, admittedly), didn't know about the extra seats, nor the Southampton tickets, nor the Luton tickets details.

While I suggested to him that he pays a bit more attention, it does highlight a worrying fact that, but for the Internet, (forget the Arsegas - that's clearly an unreadable rag) the Albion don't really publicise themselves through any other media.

I think Southern FM would be a lot better as it would get the message to a lot more people and fast.

This is exactly it. Many fans just assume they'll not stand a chance of getting a ticket to one of the big games (and surely Palace is THE biggest) because it's difficult to get hold of tickets in the home end just like that.

We can argue as much as we want that we don't sell out week in week out but the fact remains that once we have our Falmer stadium no fan will have an excuse for not coming down, and then we can start getting arsey with those who've not made the journey
