I don't do this anger thing very well. I did manage a 'bugger' though.

HWT - you're a level-headed, rational sort of bloke. What do you think re: fab?
Thanks for asking.

I was not happy to see him skulk in the dugout with a face halfway between a smacked arse and . . . . dazed.

I would imagine he will be having a long chat with Barbs and Tony later.
I trust them to do the right thing.
Whatever that may be....

I can remember losing 8-0 at Northampton in the 1960s. It was in the League Cup, around the time England won the WC. I saw the first game (1-1), but fortunately, wasn't at the replay.

Today was the biggest league defeat for Albion since losing 9-0 away to Middlesbrough in 1958 when Brian Clough scored 5 goals.

The year I was born.

Maybe today is the book-ending of my life ???

Not that I'm one to catastrophize.

I watched the game in the pub and then went to watch Hastings United lose to Lewes and have come back to the pub to watch England lose to Ireland in the rugby. Not the greatest Saturday ever......

But you and I still breath in and out.

Football is one of those wonderful things that are completely out of our control.
We don't have to make it real by having to, er....
campaign for the very existence of our club.
Any more.

So I'm happy to enjoy the gravy and set the gristle on the side of my plate
