Villa away was incredible. there is a vid on youtube of our goal, the noise and anticipation from 7k plus Albion fans behind that goal as the ball got closer to the net followed by absolute SCENES was immense....

Was the marked tickets just a scare mongering tactic to stop Brighton fans sitting in the hone ends because I had a black mark on mine but bought an Albion ticket on the way up so disregarded my Villa home end ticket.

I've always wondered to this day if that black mark/smudge on tickets was an scare tactic.

Did anyone actually use those tickets to gain entry?

Nope! But I know for my sins two MK Dons STH's and they reckon this might be the case! Also I was at the MK Dons v Coventry game last year in the Cov end and the bars were shut!
