Watford and Crewe are in dire form. All we need is one win and a few draws and we'll be okay. Surely we can take advantage of this?

Last night it seemed to me that we were doomed, but looking at the form and run-in of the others, we can stay up:clap2:

As for what Stinky Kat said about borrowing the money to sign a goalscorer - it's really not worth gambling the club's future on staying in this league, if we do stay up then obviously that's great, but at the end of the day I'd be far happier going down and getting Falmer than vice versa.

Its not a blame culture but we put the nail in the coffin by failing to sign a proven striker before deadline day. The money should have been borrowed in an attempt to get a scorer in order to keep us up.

Too much is asked of Virgo and the midfield are not creative enough lately. Down I am afraid.

Agreed, but the sending off of various influential players at crucial times ( bloody idiots), has been the killer for me. Charlie, who at the time was playing very well, and if we had him for the derby home game, I am sure we could have got something there, then Chippy at Plymouth, twat, now Hart, super twat.

I know where you are coming from but I worry that if we go down, dont get Falmer and dont perform next season and therefore dont mount a challenge to get back to the championship it will take a miracle in marketing by the board to sell season tickets at nearly £500 a go for Div 2 football in season 06/07. Look how poor the finances are this year compared to the last few years and how many more crown jewel (zamora and Cullip) can we cash in on to balance the books.

Yes a lot of ifs but for the sake of borrowing a few quid and gambling on a goal score or a creative midfielder rather than the usual hit and miss signings I as a gambling man felt it was a risk worth taking.

Anyway we might beat leicester and pick up the points we need to stay up and then I will happily eat my words.

I was UP in February but DOWN in March...............................

I can't see us getting a win the way we are playing at the mo. tactics (esp away from home ) have become totally negative based on the sole premise of not conceding a goal so when we do,(and we haven't taken the lead since Millwall) we cannot change the way we are playing and consequently are F@@@D..

We need to try and go out to win games rather than try and nick one on the break or by a piece of luck. I won't moind (tto much) if we try and win games and end up losing but even mcghee mnust realise that the tactcis of back to the wall defending from the first to the ninety firts minute will NOT keep us up now.

Deja Vu in reverse

Last time we were in this division we started after 2 games by losing 12 in a row...surely no repeat at the end of this season, (okay I know we only have 5 matches left and that makes 11...)

By the way if we had won all six, we'd be two points off the play offs...

This is becoming as macabre as watching the decline of Pope John Paul II...

Sorry Somerset, I can't agree that OGH's red on Tuesday was anywhere near has "twatish" as Chippie's push at Plymouth.

OGH made a desparate lunge to block a PNE player running in our 6-yard box - Chippie WAS a twat.
