It's more the case that YOUR generation has had it much EASIER than any previous generation before AND generations since.Sorry, I was forgetting that this generation has had things much tougher than any previous generation before.
Ignorance? What exactly are you celebrating here?
In the UK about 6.8% of people have mortgages.
By comparison about 61% of people are savers, some of which may be hitting the breadline.
So any rise in income to this long forgotten majority is surely good news.
Coming soon to a Tory council seat in Brighton near you. You, Sir, are a cucking funt!
Ignorance?
It rhymes with 'punt'I dont. Perhaps you can spell it out.
What a cockwombleIn the UK about 6.8% of people have mortgages.

6% of a mortgage on a house of 20K-80K was bearable, 30 years ago, due to wages just about keeping up.Sorry, I was forgetting that this generation has had things much tougher than any previous generation before.

He’s just a very bitter, miserable man who still can’t come to terms with the fact that the house price crash he so confidently predicts every couple of years for the past 15 years or so hasn’t materialised. As shown by his OP, he clearly has no grasp on figures at all.Are you going to acknowledge the errors in your opening post?
~37.5% of the UK population has a mortgage while about 27.5% own a home outright.
Of the remainder, discounting the children, many will be spending a huge chunk of their income on rent so have little prospect of saving.
What exactly are you celebrating here?
As a child of the early 50s I will happily admit that we had things much much easier when we were young. I changed jobs at will travelled and lived abroad, always had enough to get by and didn’t even bother with a mortgage until I was in my early thirties. It was not a struggle either and I was not a high earner.Sorry, I was forgetting that this generation has had things much tougher than any previous generation before.
Nope. Are you not man enough to put it in print.
