That reminded me of the dismissal of Mark Kasprovicz at Edgbaston in 2005. Little was made of the replay which actually showed that the Harmison delivery made contact with his glove when it was not forming part of the bat.

Had we been using the DRS system during that match the destiny of The Ashes may have been very different.

It been an unbelievably poor session by India. Bowling, fielding & captaincy earlier and that run out just as the rain comes down completely sums up their current mental state.

That's a very interesting one. Lots was not made of it at the time because many players simply didn't seem to know. Kasprowicz presumably thought he was out. In the circumstances if DRS had existed they would almost certainly have appealed just on the off chance and the umpires would have given not out.
