If you're inactive for a certain period of time - 20 minutes I think it is - then you aren't included in the current total.

No idea what happened yesterday morning - I was still in bed at 7:42am - I'll see if Google Analytics reveals anything.

I wasn't. At 07:42 yesterday morning I was still sparko in bed, completely and utterly unaware of the impending hangover I was about to endure on waking at about 08:02
