Curiously I noticed an NSCer had ordered the whole trilogy via our Amazon link only yesterday. I clicked through to see what they were...

 it was for the wife.......honest!! :)#

If you noticed...they were the Kindle version :)

Note:....whatever you do buy from amazon...... please do it via the link like i did, it really does help to keep NSC going

Terrible writing, although the subject matter can hold the interest. Seriously poorly written book though but it's popcorn reading pure and simple and doesn't claim to be any more.

My other half is reading it and says it's 'trash lit.' You can't argue with its sales - if you look at the latest UK fiction chart top ten it's sold in excess of 100k books, while everything else is struggling along with between 3-6k sales.

Blokes are 'visual' and we make do with youporn or redtube, women on the other hand need their hand shandy material in the written form, hence the phenomenal sales of Shades of Grey and Nancy Friday's The Secret Garden.

Does not seem to matter, sadly. I remember when the Telegraph reviewed Twilight and there synopsis was something like "the success of this series is only eclipsed by the appalling prose. Teenage vampire trash". My wife started reading it to see what the fuss was about and she put it down after 50 pages as it was so badly written.

That's all very well but I'm not sure I want Bozza scrutinising my Amazon purchases!

It may be worth some of the young blades on here reading this book to actually discover what turns Women on as generally it is not having a huge willy and pistoning in and out like a pneumatic drill for 2 minutes. I may even read it myself to improve my technique.

I actually read a few pages of the book as all the ladies are reading it at work. Christian says at one point 'Suck me baby' during a supposed passionate scene. If a bloke REALLY said that what sort of reaction do you think he would get?
