It's the equivalent of Ann Summers. Supposed to be a bit naughty, but ultimately rather tame and aimed at girls. If you want some SERIOUS hardcore reading (DVDA, Boston Pancakes, lunchboxing etc),then go elsewhere.

Don't think the film will be anywhere near as good as the books - I guess they are how you interpret them in your mind and mine must be filthy!!! I thought they were great books to read - all my mates on Facebook are reading them and they are all enjoying them. The only problem is all their husbands are knackered all the time!!!

Indeed, I tend to try to work out if they know the content and are buying on that basis or if they're just following the hype and are maybe in for a bit of a shock.

I only bought it because I thought it was about the songs of Visage.

I was expecting the life story of Steve Strange (such a nice boy, until his spastic colon got the better of him during an episode of Tiswas and he accidentally soiled himself in front of Lenny Henry, by the way our Ada reckons that Sally James is a tuppence licker), but instead I was FORCED to read this depraved filth from cover to cover............twice.
