Can’t remember I’m afraid. A quick Google makes me think it was the Cricketers as we parked in a car park quite close. I remember we walked past a less pleasant looking pub but were encouraged into the one we went to by people standing at the door (despite Albion scarves). It was quite small inside if that helps.

Probably was the Cricketers. Rough, but generally ok for the less high profile games. Others near the ground I would suggest avoiding as an away fan (and maybe even as a home fan!) are the Roost and the Royal George. Plenty of pubs near there have closed, eg the Sportsman, the Victoria, the Garrison (from Peaky Blinders fame), not surprising really as it’s a very run down area and a high % of residents in the area won’t be drinking anyway if they want to get to paradise! Bainseys I hear is ok but haven’t been there.

Probably best stick to the Cricketers or the MacDonalds (another former pub), or the bar at the Ibis.

Ohhh Poggers free kick….marvellous

Another great away day was Bristol City which I was at ….same commentator…rewatched it when I got home about five times

Me too! Another fantastic away match, I was a guest of a City friend in some really good seats just behind the Brighton bench on half way line and watched Stevie S. amazing strike in all its glory. Celebrated with Adam Hinch and a few others on the bench at FT. What a win that was!

I went on the Costa Express, and was sitting right behind the goal. It wasn’t empty but it wasn’t full either.

It was fecking freezing though, the walk up to St Andrews in the dark felt a bit Crimewatchy. But yes, away end wasn’t full but when the goal went in everyone just went bat shit and as previously noted Inwas knackered simply celebrating so god knows what Murray and co felt after running the length of the pitch to celebrate with us. Halcyon times, before PL boredom!

Love the BBC Sussex commentary for Murray's winner. Tingles down the spine kinda stuff! I watched it on a tiny screen in a pub in London (all the other screens were showing United I think). Started leaping around on my own like a lunatic.
