Here's a better one for the Obscure Book of Records:

In five of their last ten matches Albion have scored four or more goals. However, in the other five they have only managed a combined total of two.

The closest I can find a five in ten was 2010/11 when they managed four. I can't be bothered to look further. It didn't happen in the original Golden Years of the 70s.
