And it would've been better with Magoo in charge?

Yes, in my opinion it would have. McGhee has vast experience in this league and has got 3 sides out of it the right way, never the wrong way.

Yes, but would results have been the same? Under McGhee we beat two midtable form teams in the Gills and Rotherham and only lost to the team in first place, the team in second place and the Championship team from last year in seventh place.

Now, no one is quite sure where the next win is going to come from and we look vunerable to every team in this division.

I thought we looked vunerable against all the teams we played under McGhee at the start of the season. We only beat Gillingham because they were complete hash in front of our goal.

I agree with you. I never wanted Mcghee sacked.

Wilkins is clueless.

I swear I have seen this before .... oh yeah I remember when Tinslehead got the job. Wonder how many defeats we can go for in a row this time!!!

That's rubbish. We looked vulnerable against Crewe, but apart from that we competed in every single match McGhee took charge of this season. We won a few, we lost a few - so what? That's a lot more than we are doing now.

I'm on about looking vunerable as in conceding goals. Yes, there was a bit more fight under McGhee but look at it today. Where was the 'leader' & 'vocal' players? Only one I could really hear was Kuipers.

It would appear the problems are far deeper than just the manager at present.

When will we win again ?

And he was giving out duff information at times.

You are right though we have no leadership on the park, in the past if the defence made a mistake not only would you expect an ear bashing at half time from the manager but you'd get one on the pitch from Mr Cullip too.

None of the older professionals are that type of player which means at times we run round like headless chickens.

I'd started to lose faith in McGhee and think it was time for him to go, and no I'm not eating humble pie.

For christ's sake it was stale, and it looked hideous. Granted it's not looking any better now, but that defeat today has been experienced under McGhee very recently.

There's no telling whether it would have been any better, and it doesn't matter now. The point is the new appointment is not the right one, and that is where the Chairman has ballsed up.

Yep, the people who said McGhee was doing his best with limited resources are looking the stupid ones now, aren't they?

*no smilie required*
I don't think anyone's ever argued he wasn't doing his best.

Would that team from the Championship be the team that had been on a bad run & came down here & spanked us 1-4? And how can you say Rotherham were a form team when it was the first game of the season?

Do they think it can come back with the set-up as it is now?

Lets get this into perspective LI. We beat Rotherham in the first game, They lost the next 0-3. We beat Gillingham, It started a run of 6 games without a win for the Gills. Hardly mid table form at the time eh? How do we know the first 3 games under Wilkins was'nt a lift in performance and how we're playing now is the way we would've played under McGhee anyway?
