Will be a testing first hour, this is make or break for Cook, I know he made a century in the last game but he needs to be consistent with decent scores and the first hour with these conditions and these bowlers will be a great test of his technique and temprament.

England's record at the Home Of Cricket is superb. Strauss test average there is something like 64.

I don't think Pakistan will win, but there's a few England batsmen praying they get a score, particularly Strauss and Pietersen. I think ALL 6 of this lot plus Bell will go to Australia but, psychologically, you don't want to be sitting on 13 or 16 tests without a ton.
