Finally underway at Lords after rain, looks rather chilly.

Aus win toss with a strong side and bowl.

Struggling to get started in this 39 over game.

New thing, winter cricket. Summer cricket is reserved for The Hundred.
I hate the Hundred. Not only is it a pointless format the ECB have sacrificed every domestic tournament and now the national side for it. There is a lot of competition for who are the worst administrators in British sport but surely the ECB have to be up there contending for the gold medal spot.

Lovely piece of clown school fielding there.

312 could be a stroll for the Aussies

Archer bowling well though

Good come back from England.
Australia lost it at the start of England’s innings when Duckett and Salt could get bat on ball.
England could easily have been 40/4 but somehow our openers survived.
It’s great to see Jofra back at it again.

An interesting radio interview between innings when Aggers was challenging Richard Gould about the price of international cricket tickets.
He said that the total annual income from cricket in England is £350m, which is £200m less than Arsenal alone.

Don't think I understand the stumping rule now, does the part of the foot behind the line not have to be on the ground?

What was that from umpire Dharmasena? Can't see anything definitively behind the line.

Quite funny hearing the England lads reaction on the stump mic. Terrible decision. ‘Who’s the third umpire’ was a great line!
