4th in March is far and above my expectations ,and still pinching myself on what has gone on in the last 12 months and beyond. My dilemma is what happens now .
A very tricky run -in ( west ham ,reading ,b,ham, boro ) So if on last day if we finish 7th on goal difference what will the reaction be ? or to lose a ply-off semi , or even worse a final at wembley or we do the unthinkable and make the prem on first attempt under Gus .
Does it sound daft to have hoped for a SAFE midtable season this year and push on next season ?
the pressure from some fans will be massive and my point is that if we lose every game till the end of the season, then so be it , and i would still think WOW.What a season.

Really? I'd find that massively disappointing given the season that we have had so far

With you on that.

I really wouldn't have minded where we finished last season or this, so long as I watched, along with my boy, the quality of football that we have been playing.

To get the two scenarios together is simply fantastic.

4th! I'm saying it out loud. It's lovely.

4th 4th 4th!

:)

...it's not third though is it. (joke)

4th is great, but by the time we next kick a ball, all but one of the teams up there with us will have played their games in hand (Birmingham will be the only team with a spare game).

We have to hope that some of these go our way as if they don't we will be in 7th come kick off against Boro and possibly 9th by 5pm.

So, to balance my argument, we could also have a 6 point cushion between us and 7th spot and be just 4 points behind West Ham
