4th... But i'm happy where we are

I'm really enjoying this season, as I did last season at the Withdean with us playing attractive football. I do remember, however, the feelings I had when we yoyo'd between Championship and League 1 over 3 seasons. I also remember the dissappointment of when we failed to achieve a return to the top flight, and our subsequent drop down the tables.

Whilst I would love us to enter the top flight on the current merit of our side, I worry about spending the next year watching us get trounced every week (Liverpool 6-1 is still a firm memory). Maybe my glass is half-empty, but if we don't go up I will not be dissapointed.

The fact that we're even worrying about/discussing this makes me very, very happy. That is all.

Not complaining.
If we don't go up, it won't be the end of anyone's World, and nobody can possibly be disappointed with anyone.

The players won't be playing forever, so I look to them to wonder if they harbour the ambition to make it up this season.
Even if we came straight back down, it will be an interesting roller-coaster to ride.
