so, who gets all the interest on 450m euros, for the next 2 years??
as it goes for junior sports, it is tax free. but i think the german fa will invest some cash into projects. they want to build regional centres of excellence and also help clubs funding boarding schools. also the coaches will get higher education and i think i heard the DFB will also use some money to support projects in africa. they do that for some time now.

i presume the interest goes into the junior pool as well, but i am not sure about that

Maybe a staggered system with cheaper seats available to the countries involved in the round robin and a higher price to those who wish to attend...I am not talking about huge amounts.

The money could then be invested back into the poorer countries in the form or football facilities and/or clean water etc. and so on.
So a Greenpeace /Oxfam world cup. Sadly though the cup would be made out of resin, as the gold wasn't from the Fair Trade people.

Not true, the ticket has already been bought legitimately somewhere before it gets in the hands of the touts.

Not always.

The career touts over there bought their tickets from the bent FIFA officials at the top who were after a quick buck. Paddy got into a conversation with one such guy who paid I think 500 from the fifa official and was selling at 900+

I'm starting to now understand why England will never win another Would Cup Bid to stage the event.

FIFA wont allow us luxury to have that sort of money spent on our football.
Do you really think the FA would channel any profit into grass-roots football?

I reckon they'd simply find another way to ensure that Malcolm Glazier and his cronies were able to trouser it.

Like this one I got, no pissing about- straight from FIFA. The tout said the FIFA employees were nicking them out of the office in Frankfurt although that could be bullshit.

Either way they weren't selling them to anyone so they're not losing any money are they
