Is 150 issues old.

To commemorate this, they have issued a 'special' edition with FIVE different covers.

This means that if I want to maintain my collection with ALL issues, I have got to pay the best part of £20 for basically one magazine.

Spectacular rip-off or CUNNING marketing ploy?

Rip off, however inside the back cover is Des Lynam's all time favourite Albion XI, so worth reading.

Does he choose a different XI in each version?

They've done that before haven't they? I used to love it when it first came out ('94?) but since then their best journos have gone on to bigger things. Great read though.

I think the 50th had THREE different covers so they do have a bit of a track record.

Agreed, it's a great mag

More importantly, this month features Mark McGhee's new year resolution.
