St Mary's down the road in Southampton cost them £32m. with a capacity of 32689 thats £970 per seat.
yet noone seems too bothered by the sudden increase in price of ours.

not that long ago. Emirates was on prime land rather than a muddy field, and its top grade 60k stadium with conference facilities. Wembley likewise, and the site had to be cleared too. I suppose that Philadelphia stadium does indicate the costs of actual construction though.

Roughly 25 games at home a year, so it would take almost 7 years of sold out games to recoup the cost of the stadium
Obviously that wont happen that quickly, but it is some kind of small perspective
