Come on, since early last season he has been doubtful or carrying an injury every game, much as I like the guy he sounds like a right f***ing sicknote. WTF is the problem now?

Hart and Foster are old and one expects regular injuries but Murray is reasonably young and appears to be either taking the piss or doesn't want to play or is very definitely injury prone, how much football has the guy played in the last 6 months?

I agree about Murray, he seems to be a proper lazy **** if I am being honest. Plays 20 mins then supposedly has an injury. If he wants to leave us then fine but at least put in some fuckin effort when he is here, if nothing else it will make him a more attractive proposition to buyers.

i find it unbelievable that we're about to kick off the new season with only one fit striker. Slade needs to either go and sign another striker or get someone in on loan, quick.

This needs to be addressed by the club tonight.

As far as we know, in Murray's career he has had TWO injuries. How is that injury prone?!

The thing is it is like with Baby Tinselhead, he only had a problem with one knee - he was still injury prone and never played.

Murray is constantly out with groin problems. Maybe it would be a good thing if his girlfriend did bugger off back to mummy - at least he may stop pulling his groin! ???

Murray looked ok last Saturday when he played in the 2nd half. 4-5-1 can instantly change into a 4-3-3 as we witnessed at Scunny who were caught out on several occasions.

On another thread there is a link to a Doncaster Rovers board talking about Billy Sharpe. On there it says that Sheffield Utd are looking for a player in part exchange, and they don't have any to give! Let's swap Murray now and get rid - the money being discussed is £800k - hopefully Tony Bloom can sort something?

and let the abuse of Murray begin...

He has groin strain according to the Argus not exactly major and didn't say he was definitely out. Last season was a hernia that was poorly managed and therefore got worse, not really his fault is it. Quite why people are so happy to dish out abuse to our best player is beyond me

Why is it beyond you? Do you really expect fans to like a player who has cost a record amount for something like 25 years, is always injured, and when he gets fit (?????????????) states he wants to leave and go up north because some bird he has an illegitimate child with wants to go back up north to mummy? - not very professional is it?

The guy seems to have one niggly injury after another and doesn't want to be here, I agree he is our best player and I'm not sure that getting pissed that he spent most of last season injured and is now unfit again is abuse.

carlisle received a decent fee from watford for danny graham at tribunal today, and its no secret that they are desperate for a new striker. maybe glenn could get his move back home, but i would be sad to see him go.

As for Gary Hart being out, well he's been nothing more than a bit part player for about four seasons now, so no hopes should ever have been placed on his shoulders for this season in the first place. And yes I do know he played a major part in The Great Escape, but that was a sprint rather than a marathon. At best, he'll do the same this season, but no way will he hold down a regular place.

no one wants to loss the first match.......i think this a good shout !

Agree but not sure Smith will start. I think he was brought in to be first choice but Kuipers has been starting last few games which makes me think one of the following has happened:

1) Smith had a knock.
2) Kuiper shas been outsnding in training
3) Smith ha sbeen awful in training

Or its maybe that Slade had pretty much made up his mind and was giving Michel as much opportunity as possible to try and get him to change it.

I really don't know but it seems strange that th enew first choice didn't start the last couple of friendlies.
