It's ok, that's what the starting line up would have been anyway. Fozzy can sit on the bench should we need him for 20 minutes or so.

Wonder if Murray has played his last game. These kind of mystery injuries always spring up when a player is on their way out.

I think so. As per Scunthorpe?

Still going to win 3-0, anyway.

Could well be a grain of truth in that.

Undoubtably talented but just how injury prone is Murray?! Surely this must affect the list of teams who would be interested in buying him ???

I said in the Scunthorpe match thread that I thought the starting line up there would be XI we started with for the Walsall game.

replace Smith with Kuipers and we have a winner if Murray really is out

As far as we know, in Murray's career he has had TWO injuries. How is that injury prone?!

Just seems to me that his injuries are niggling and his recoveries are slow. I dont know that much about football injuries but a lot of last season I seem to have read Glenn Murray ruled out for whatever reason. Maybe i'm being unfair to the lad but just frustrating at the start of the year to have our best player presumably not wanting to play for us and we cant even get him on the field to do a job and have him in the shop window so to speak.

As someone has mentioned already though these injuries do sometimes crop up just before a move is announced so we shal wait and see.

It was incredibly frustrating, but as we know when Slade turned up, he commented that the medical system at the club was "a bit of a shambles".

Also Adams tried to force both Murray and Hawkins back into playing when they were nowhere near ready, aggravating their injuries and causing longer setbacks.

Yes, regarding a possible move that is my concern with this less serious sounding injury.

Come on, since early last season he has been doubtful or carrying an injury every game, much as I like the guy he sounds like a right f***ing sicknote. WTF is the problem now?

Hart and Forster are old and one expects regular injuries but Murray is reasonably young and appears to be either taking the piss or doesn't want to play or is very definitely injury prone, how much football has the guy played in the last 6 months?
