As I have posted previously, ODIs and T20 are now no longer anything to do with normal cricket.
But if we picked that team for the test side, we'd have the ashes now.

Wood wasnt fit unfortunately as he would have made the difference. The one who always impresses me in these games is Buttler but he doesnt seem to figure in test match consideration.

That's because Bairstow can play as a batsman.
2 questions is he better behind the stumps than Buttler who can also bat in limited overs game as yesterday showed.
Would Bairstow get in as a batsman only instead of Stoneman or Vince.
Buttler is probably the better keeper. But with the current make up of the England side it suits to use Bairstow. Buttler as a batsman is not prolific, or the anchoring type, at Test level.
Bairstow has played in the batsman only role but is unlikely to do so all the while he's averaging around 40 in the keeper role.
