Where did you hear this? Presumably refers to how many runs will be scored in certain periods of play (ie overs 5 to 10 of one or the other sides' innings). Usually the first power play is involved I believe as it requires less players to be involved to make it happen. I was once offered a similar spread-bet tip on an exhibition match in Hong Kong and it was spot on. Sad but must now be time to give up - In this instance I wouldn't trust/rule out either side but you would have to wonder if they would be mad enough.......
strange though that Pakistan have gone from being the most inept batting side ever to tour here to being extremely competitive almost overnight
Changed now to 'a certain scoring pattern' but it seems your correct, it looks like where you bet on runs scored in certain overs. Love the way the BBC just assume its Pakistan!
I think that if you look hard enough at any game of cricket it is possible to come up with a set of figures/circumstances that 'might' justify investigation. My gut feeling is that the ICC are wanting to send out stronger signals that they are very much monitoring things.May of course be wrong but its a hard one to call sometimes. Have seen pretty blatant stuff like their last match in Aussie, that appear hard to ignore mind...all a bloody shame though. By the way if I play sunday watch out for the no-balls! I walk off a three step run up! so a no-ball really iffy
Earlier the BBC report said it was another blow to Pakistan but they've removed that now. And the PCB have issued a statement. The BBC obviously know whats going on and reading between the lines its pretty obvious its them.
