Another day or two of rain wouldn't be bad. The pitch isn't going to produce a good game of cricket so let's just take the draw and run.
You have to admire the Aussies, they are apparently, without "aura" but despite losing quality players in all departments and seemingly carrying a bowler who can't spin a ball, another who can't bowl wicket to wicket and an opener who is meant to be very average middle order, they seem to have at least given themselves a chance.
This may well be a rain affected match but it does look like the Aussies have put themselves in a good position to exploit our very weak 3-4-5 when the time comes.
Strauss f***ed himself when he doubted the aussies in ANY way. I bet they loved that in the oz dressing room, loved it.
Got to agree with this.
On another note, is Broad's time running out? He just doesn't look right at the moment.
Why does everyone hate Broad? of the paceman who was the only one who threatened yesterday. He's the only bowler to have taken wickets in all 3 Aussie innings and a lot of the time suffers because Strauss gives him strange fields and tells him to bowl bouncers. His average for England for England in the last two years is better than Harmison's, and he's got a better average in County Cricket this year than Harmy
