That is a highly selective opinion on the perceived benefits of being in the 1901 Club.

Agreed. And in any case not ALL 1901 club members get a space. It is one per two seats - so on a single ticket you have to club together with someone else.

Of course it is. My point is ... will ALL 1901 Club members want the parking space that is part of the package? Or will some of them be prepared to forego the parking space and let someone else use it?

I imagine nearly all will take up the option even if they only use the space on occasion. If it's on offer you might as well take it. As I mentioned, it's part of the overall package of ease and comfort which I seek these days. A parking space is a useful item to have in your pocket if occasionally I cannot be arsed with public transport....or for a midweek game.

No one will know until we know what the relevant car parking take up has been.

Boozing, or eating, is not a mandatory part of 1901 membership, it is entirely optional, and not included as part of the package.

No point in continually digging at the 1901, as major financial contributors to the club they should be welcomed, and not sniped at.
