I don't get why the newspapers reporting this seem to be sympathising with the bloke. Sorry, but if you're so fat you take up two seats, then you should damn well pay for two seats. Or join WeightWatchers. Last time I flew to the US I ended up with some chozzer in the next seat and her humungous derriere was spilling out under the armrest into my seat for eight hours.

One of my pet hates is fat people who whinge and moan about being fat.
