A heavy police presence has been spotted at Crawley Town's home ground.

As many as '30 police cars' have been seen outside Broadfield Stadium, off Winfield Way, also known as The People's Pension Stadium, this evening (Wednesday, May 29).

Officers are believed to be stationed in the car park.

One witness at the scene, who wishes to remain anonymous, has reported that a cordon has been put in place.

They said: "Police have cordoned off Broadfield Stadium in Crawley. About 30 police cars are in the stadium car park."
