True and we had a great manager and a goal scorer.

Just shows how far this club has come.

Onwards and upwards.

When we were in the old Division 3 South I could never have imagined being in Division 1. When Leatherhead knocked us out of the cup I couldn't have believed we would go to Wembley one day. When we were odds on to go out of the league I would've bitten your hand off to be where we are today and to have had the enjoyment and the tears in between. Keep the faith. Falmer is on the horizon

True, but if someone had told me on the train back from Newcastle in 1979 that in 20 years time we'd be playing in the 4th Division at Withdean Stadium in front of crowds of 6,000 I'd have said you were a doom-merchant of the very worst kind.

Swings and roundabouts.

10 years ago we were stuck at Gillingham playing in front of crowds of less than 4000 with a team of deadbeats, no hope of coming back to brighton and Archer still on the board.

We were abit rubbish at home at the end of that 2003-04 season tho. A 0-0 draw to soon tobe relegated Rushdean followed by a unconvincing 1-0 win thanks to an Own Goal by another team that went down, Notts County. Then if it wasn't for Virgo we wouldn't have made the play-off final
