Phones go the way of bottle tops? We still have pies at the Amex, despite a Brighton fan getting a ban for throwing a pie at Zaha.

Yes you have to apply commercial sense here:
Pies Not banned Albion would lose money
Coffee cups (like at Spurs) Not banned Albion would lose money
Bottle tops Banned. Albion make more money
Flasks Banned. Albion make more money

Before we get carried away I seem to recall an occasional NSC poster throwing his phone onto the concourse after an on pitch kerfuffle many years ago - either at Sunderalnd or Oldham away. He was certainly escorted from the ground at Oldham. No names, etc :lolol:

SIM-ster?

A simple case of Norfolk misunderstanding.

He heard the crowd chanting "Who are we?" and thought it was a request to throw his Huawei.

Shouldn't have had his phone in hand during the game, serves him right.

Pie - acceptable.
Fizzy pop - acceptable.
Small child - acceptable.
Mobile phone - unacceptable.

Although were it a land line phone I would class that as acceptable too.

I read the list first and thought it was a list of what was and wasn't acceptable to throw on the pitch.

Small child - acceptable!

For those of us who pay for their kids’ season tickets and mobile phones, this could be a good way of saving some money in the new year.......

He asked his mate what network it was on. He said 'Vodafone'. He thought his mate said 'throw the phone'.
