In a pile of football shirts
Sat/stood behind us were three spanish speaking chaps, about late 20s, one in in an Albion home shirt, Superwife says they were very dishy. any ideas who they might have been? I was going to have a chat with them at half time but they disappeared for a pie till the second half, didn't like it interupt them during the match.

Saw them too. The one in the middle in the Valencia shirt was Vicente's brother I think.

No. I don't think that was them, I saw the bloke in a Valencia shirt before the game, but didn't think he was one of the three sat behind us, I don't think.

There some Spaniards in the South Stand against Derby. They were just shouting things in Spanish which sounded incredibly flair so they got laughed at and applauded. Despite the fact that none of us knew what the heck was being said. At one point, Calderon passed it back to Brezovan under no pressure and they greeted it with a tonguetwistingly long phrase in Spanish, whatever they said, it sounded very funny.

There were about 3 or 4 Spaniards in the East family stand at Derby as well. Got behind the team too with lots of shouting in Vicente's direction.

Funny you mention this, I saw a Spanish guy walking around George street in a Brighton shirt.. Did think he may have a connection to Vicente.

They're massive Valencia fanatics in the Brightok area...when they heard about Vicente they we're wearing their Albion/Valencia/Vicente shirts with pride!

Before anyone asks, I speak Spanish as enjoyed a conversation in English and Spanish! Thoroughly nice chaps

Did they come back after the pie, probably unfortunately misidentifying them as Nottingham's best empanada.

likely all the Spanish students here to learn English have adopted us as a team to follow due to the Vicente factor.

Bit like a few English exiles in Lille going to see Joe Cole in action.

Random one here, I don't know If she still does, but Juan Mata's sister lived or lives in Brighton. I think she studies there.

This Valencia-Brighton connection is getting into a Bromance...
