It’s crazy to think if just 3 of our 12 draws had been converted to wins we would be in a CL spot in mid Feb

It's 6 points currently. 7th will only get a Conference League spot if the FA and League Cups are won by a side that has already qualified for Europe through another route. With either Liverpool or Chelsea winning the League Cup and both looking likely to get Champions League football at the moment 6th place is the lowest side that will qualify.

Last game of the season, at home v West Ham. Could be a European tour playoff.

Before any naysayers get on the thread, there's nothing wrong with dreaming of this.

We regularly go toe-to-toe with the best teams and aren't afraid to go for the 3 points rather than set up for 1.

We've got an outstanding manager and are in excellent league form.

A better GD than Spurs and equal to Wolves, we could make up those points over the remaining games and finish 7th.

It's possible.

Football is all about if’s though. Eg If only Liverpool hadn’t won 19 or however many it is titles. And if only Brighton had. But we haven’t so it’s pointless thinking that way. Some clubs just don’t win silverware and we appear to be one. Still smarting for throwing away the Championship. It was easier to win than lose. Typical Albion!

The extra six points we'd have gained from converting those draws into wins would only get us to 7th. place (which would still be very nice!)

…and to think that at the start of the season I was hoping we’d really kick on this year and aim for about 13th. :D

Finishing top 10 would be massive for us. Makes us a very appealing team to sign for come the summer transfer window.

Not sure if the Club (squad) is quite up to dealing with Europe yet , especially if we lose Bissouma in the summer. The fall of Burnley , since their Europe adventure, is a timely warning.

Without wanting to sound like the voice of doom, but of our final 15 games, only 6 are against teams below us, and we have 9 against the 8 teams above us.
That's why Giraffe's staying up tracker has us ONLY 7 points above target, despite being 16 points above the relegation zone.
I think Europe is unrealistic given the games we have left, but then again we can dream! Roll on 3 points against United.
