I've seen some great deals advertised by this lot , is there the reason for this that they or their network coverage is crap ? Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this ?

It has had a bad rep in the past, but I believe that things have improved, and it is trying to boost market share through aggressive pricing.

I've heard good things about them myself. Personally I'm with Vodafone. Their coverage is pretty cack at times and I've recently upgraded with them for a new two year contract because I'm a f***ing dunce.

Been with them a couple of years. Damn sight better than Vodafone. voice is good but data connectivity can be a bit patchy. And why no signal in Victoria station? I see other people using their phones but 3 has no voice or data capability there.

i have a 3 pay as you go micro sim for my ipad and it is useless in Haywards Heath but fine in London where i work. It works for me as i have broadband at home so can still use internet but it would be useless if my mobile phone was on it. There is a number on the 3 website that you can text and it will tell you what the coverage is like in your area..... for reference Haywards Heath has bad coverage.

Really ? I'm with Vodabods too, and have very little probs with signal. My contract is up in a couple of months.

Odd, I'm with O2 but have a Vodaphone work phone and don't think I've ever not had a signal anywhere; and I've traveled all over the place for work.

Meant to say not the phone signal but the internet coverage. Use wi-fi mostly at the moment so that's an improvement.
