Really because I thought prior to CMS being injured we were banging them in

And in my opinion had CMS played the last 3 games we would probably be another 3-5 points better off.

2 of McSmudgers goals were deflections which had they been off of the opposing defence would have been accredited to Barnes (1st Amex hat trick) 1 was a penalty he would have been slated had he not converted it,3 were good goals. After last season i am still waiting to see if the plastic sweaty sock can come up with the goods, hope he does but only time will tell.:albion2:

Gus sorted the GK and defence. He'll sort us out up front too.

I honestly believe he won't or can't.

The problem has glaringly been there for a very long time. GP inability of putting out an attacking team or finding decent forwards out of his one dimensional player thinking is now most nauseas. Remember Mike Bailey was sacked for playing negative football & statistically he was our best ever manager. Poyet is fortunate that he has The Amex factor behind him.

It's been obvious where the weakness has been since the start of LAST season and still nothing gets done about it...

And if you'd posted this three weeks ago, it would have said 3 games 11 goals, pointless looking at a small window and trying to make some point over it.

Maybe our budget doesn't stretch to £35000 a week, which seems to be about the going rate (minimum) for a Championship 'name' striker. So doing something about it isn't quite as easy as on Football Manager.

we have enough forwards capable of scoring but when we are in the penalty box and continue to pass the ball wide you will never put the ball in the net. We should stop trying to score the perfect goal. When in the box ...shoot. Stand up and be counted.:goal:
