I have four second-year university exams coming up in a few weeks. It's very hard to concentrate on revision to say the least.

Savour the moment.......play-offs don't come around too often.

I don't feel nervous, stressed or apprehensive.....just looking forward to two great games and may the best team win, hopefully without the need for red cards/penalties or any other controversial incidents. 11 v 11.

I keep getting pangs of nerves mixed with a flutter of excitement of where this might all take us. I'm actually glad we are playing Croydon over the two legs rather than a Wembley showdown as I think I would find that almost too much to cope with. Any final will be massive anyway.

Most of all though, I can't wait for the season to be over - no matter how it ends up. Since the opening of the Amex, last year's Euros and even the Olympics, it's been almost non-stop sport/footy. I need a rest.

Squeaking your first win in 10, while conceding 2 goals against a League One side? Riiight...play like Saturday again and we'll put 4 or 5 past you.[/QUOTE

Or Murray breaking his hoo doo. Scoring three goals. Coming back from behind twice. More beneficial I would say than a 3-0 hammering at this point in time. Knowing that we can come from behind as we were doing earlier this season and get the win gives a lot of belief. If we go ahead - happy days. If we go behind - there is that belief. I don't think Brighton are that good at coming from behind are they, go a goal down and what happens then?

But that's the point. We're very, very unlikely to go a goal down. We score plenty, and concede very few. Your best chance is a penalty/red card/controversial moment. If both matches end 11v11 we will win, no question.

This is your opinion. I'm confident we have enough about us to beat your lot. Hopefuly this slump can be put behind us. Was Dunk's red card a controversial moment then? I'd prefer 11v11 too - removes any excuses.

The bit about us not conceding and scoring a lot nowadays isn't opinion, it's fact backed by evidence. We've conceded 5 (FIVE) league goals at home in 2013.

Dunk was only playing because we had a massive injury crisis - we had our SEVENTH choice left back that day. Who then got injured.

I don't blame our loss that day on Dunk, I blame it on the injuries, he shouldn't have been near the starting 11.

Just to correct the title - only two days to go.

Using the logic we use to count down the days to our cricket tour: today is Tuesday, that's today so deosn't count as "to go", only Wednesday and Thursday to go - because the game is on Friday.

TWO DAYS TO GO!!! AGGGHHHHH.

I don't understand that sentiment at all. Summers in odd-numbered years are barren, desolate wastelands, the oasis of the fixtures coming out giving the only relief. Oh and (this year at least, thank eff), the Ashes.
How am I feeling? Every time I think about it, my heart drops into my stomach. It's bloody horrible.

A mix of excitement and trepidation. Of course we should win over 2 legs but it's got zip all to do with form.

We know what we can do but, annoyingly, my anxieties rest with some unknown Palace variables:
Will Palace man mark Ulloa with Jedinak? I hope not.
Will Holloway's team do as Holloway's teams always do and attack? I hope so
Will Holloway play through the middle or get his wingers out wide? Middle I hope

I really didn't want us to get Palace and the closer it gets the more painful the whole thing is becoming. Get a grip Le Plonk.

really need friday to come quicker than it will.

Nervous that Poyet will jut try and defend for 90 minutes and get home with a draw. Im praying he doesnt play this way becaue if he does i can see us 3 behind by the 2nd leg.

Hope im completely wrong.

Can't see it, woddy. We're just not equipped to play that sort of game, and after three years now, it feels like it's not in his nature to do anything other than try to win a game. I can see him playing it tighter than usual, of course, but playing for a draw? No way.

Im fine, just hoping for a decent draw at Selhurst, maybe scrape a win - anything except losing. Then we can play them at the Amex and hopefully win.

Hopefully the favourites tag spurs the team on !!

Hope your right HHS..

seen us try and defend situations a few times this season and fail miserably with late goals. I think the first goal is hugely important.

All nervous I think. Everyone i know is. Someone text me at 1.30am this morning about it. He works with a load of Palace fans and is dreading it. Told him to get some sleep and whatever happens happens. But then i had a restless night thinking about it. Grr. Nails are now all gone. I'll be lucky to have fingers by friday. Trying to keep focused on other things. Just keep thinking this is out time. Very simular to Swansea in previous situation and how we want to play. I hope the dream turns out the same way.
As long as the players are not over confident i feel we have to much for palace but we must play to our potential.
I would love nothing more than a stress free night by Monday and a party atmosphere knowing we had a good lead from Friday.
Whatever happens been a great season and one i won't forget in a hurry.

The outcome will be either an ultimate high or a crushing defeat so I agree with Gus, hopefully we can reflect on 2 fair games of football and nothing silly. I can't see the first leg being a tight game as i think palace will feel they need to get the job done on the 1st leg.
